Bio
Porter graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Banking and Finance and studied for two semesters at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He was an infantry officer serving as a tank platoon leader and intelligence officer in the 7th Army in Europe during the Cold War. He owned a business for twelve years in Little Rock, then managed a California political campaign in Los Angeles. In New York City, he worked on Wall Street traveling the world representing Drexel Burnham Lambert. He started and built a passport and visa business for eighteen years with seventeen offices in the U.S. and Canada. After selling his business, he has various business and nonprofit interests. He is married to Diane Wilder and their son and his family live in Zürich Switzerland.
